Hengtong Showcases at Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich
Release time:2026-06-25
From June 23 to 25 local time, Intersolar Europe was held at Messe München in Germany. As a leading platform for technology exchange, business cooperation, and trend insights in the global new energy industry, the exhibition gathered more than a thousand key players across the value chain, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and practical solutions in photovoltaics, energy storage, and smart energy. It serves as an important window for companies to understand industry trends and expand into European and global markets.
As a system solution provider deeply engaged in the field of energy interconnection, Hengtong Energy Storage presented its highly safe immersion cooling energy storage system and 5MWh string-type all-scenario solution at Booth C3.140. These solutions not only address the European market's urgent demand for high safety and lifetime value, but also provide an engineering-proven pathway for large-scale renewable energy integration.

On the opening day of Intersolar, Huang Guohua, General Manager of the Marketing Center of Hengtong Energy Storage, gave an exclusive interview to C114, discussing the company's product roadmap, European market strategy, and industry development trends.

Huang Guohua stated that Hengtong showcased two core hardware products: the highly safe immersion cooling energy storage system and the standardized 5MWh string-type energy storage system. The company also introduced all-scenario string-type ESS solutions and integrated services covering project development and financing.
The utility-scale immersion cooling solution effectively prevents fire risks caused by battery thermal runaway. Compared with conventional liquid-cooling solutions, the technology controls system temperature differences within 2.2°C, reducing auxiliary power consumption while extending cycle life.
The string-type products adopt an independent 'one cluster, one management' architecture. Faulty units can be isolated individually without affecting system operation, significantly improving system availability and enabling precise maintenance, thereby reducing lifecycle O&M costs.
Huang Guohua emphasized that Hengtong possesses full-chain capabilities from core equipment and system integration to project delivery, enabling the company to meet Europe's stringent safety requirements and support the region's energy transition with reliable products and lifecycle services.

As a key overseas market for Chinese energy storage companies, Europe maintains high standards for product certification, warranty systems, and after-sales services.
Leveraging Hengtong Group's three manufacturing bases in Portugal, Spain, and Germany, Hengtong Energy Storage has established a localized service network together with local partners. The company is also planning dedicated local manufacturing facilities to further shorten delivery times and better meet regional certification requirements.

Speaking about core competitiveness, Huang Guohua noted that Hengtong's more than ten years of overseas experience in the power sector have enabled strong end-to-end R&D capabilities. Combining deep expertise in power system integration with a global service network, the company has built differentiated strengths characterized by grid expertise, strong R&D, integration capability, and superior service.
Regarding China-Europe cooperation in energy storage, Huang Guohua believes the two sides are highly complementary and enjoy broad prospects for mutual development. Over the next three to five years, Hengtong Energy Storage will continue expanding localized manufacturing and service capabilities in Europe and strive to become a world-class provider of full-lifecycle energy storage solutions, contributing to Europe's energy transition and a carbon-neutral future.
